As in the past, we´ve found many top musicians right under our noses. This time it was even closer than that. From Intern to DJ to Producer, Michael Anthony´s talents have always been undeniable. Whether it be on the turntables or in production, his sound is what people dig and shake ass to.
When Michael Anthony teamed up with the equally high stone cool brother B. Smiley, it went completely out of control. B. Smiley plugs away at the mad machinery, pushing Wizard of OZ status without coming out from from behind the curtain. Some reports say he is blue and stands at 8 ft 9 inches, but we are not sure. What we are sure of is the impressive way he brings the heavy, low-end developments to their music. Michael Anthony meets B.Smiley "Trails"
With a track in mind and a plan in place, we set off to get our hands on the piece, and quickly.
We chased the lads up and down some gruesome hills, with our electric scooters giving us just the right edge to finally get our hands on some music. And just in the nick of time, as Bedrock, Spundae and Perfecto were plundering the vaults for more of this duo´s sound. We kept it clean and simple by slapping just one track per side: the original and the remix.
Written with the DJ in mind, the tracks build and drive like your daddy´s favorite ´stang...or even our trusty scooters. Stick on some shades, cue the tunes and hold on for a bass wobbling, Sunday-after-dark cruise. Hang left, hang right, and always follow the "Trails".
